A lady discovered a stray cat by a bustling road seeking assistance and ended up transforming his life completely.

In the beginning of the previous month, a cute furry feline was discovered all alone in a park close to a bustling road, with a little bit of food and water set out for him. He seemed to be struggling to move, taking slow and shaky steps.
A kind-hearted soul named Nathalie came across his story on social media and sprang into action. She managed to find the cat and was quick to notice his unsteady walk.
The affectionate kitty showed his warm nature by nuzzling against her with a happy purr. He then settled on her lap, his eyes shining with delight.

Nathalie took the cat to the veterinarian, who diagnosed him with a neurological issue causing his unsteadiness. His back legs were also in bad condition and required additional examination.
In order to ensure the cat received top-notch care, Nathalie reached out to her community rescue group, Chatons Orphelins Montreal.
Rousseau had a shaky walk and discomfort in his hind legs when he was rescued by the team at Montreal Rescue. They affectionately named him Rousseau, but noticed that his back legs were frail, lacking muscle strength to help him stand steadily. Celine from the rescue recounted how he relied on his front legs to make up for the weakness in his hind legs, and he seemed to be in pain when anyone tried to touch them.
Following his hip replacement surgery, he arrived at his foster home to begin the healing process. X-rays showed that Rousseau was dealing with hip dysplasia, a bone issue, and one of his hind legs was dislocated. It was evident that he had been dealing with these issues for quite some time due to the wear and tear in his joints. Thanks to the generous support from the public, Rousseau was able to have the necessary hip replacement surgery to help restore full function to his joints.

Though his first steps were unsteady, he persevered, gradually improving his balance and strengthening his leg muscles.
After a week of taking it easy, he was up and about, exploring, running, and having fun with his toys. Rousseau was back on his paws, eager to investigate his surroundings with endless curiosity.
