Think of it as a gathering in the Windy City.
Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah came together again at Rose’s wedding on Thursday. Just like they did throughout their time in the NBA, Noah took on the important role of officiating the ceremony, providing much-needed support.
According to a report by NBC Sports Chicago, Derrick Rose, the former NBA player, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Alaina Anderson, in a simple and intimate wedding ceremony held in Beverly Hills. To commemorate this joyous event, Anderson took to Instagram and shared lovely pictures of their families, affectionately referring to them as “The Roses.”
As mentioned in a report by NBC Sports, there have been claims stating that Rose and Anderson tied the knot in 2018. As a result, it is unclear whether the recent ceremony was simply a celebration of their previous union or if it involved a legal remarriage.
Having previously been teammates on the Bulls from 2008 to 2016, Rose and Noah have stood by each other’s side as best friends at a previous wedding.
Rose took on the unofficial position of being the wedding photographer for Noah and Lais Ribeiro’s joyous celebration in Brazil during the summer of 2022. The guest list included notable personalities such as Chandler Parsons and Taj Gibson. As for a romantic gesture in 2021, Rose surprised Anderson by presenting a stunning square-cut diamond ring on center court at Madison Square Garden, marking the momentous occasion of their engagement.
“I can’t believe it, Mrs. Rose! My face is hurting.” Just got proposed to by MSG; nothing out of the ordinary!” Anderson expressed on her Instagram post, sharing her journey as an entrepreneur in the fashion and fitness sectors. Rose and Anderson have been happily married since 2016 and are now proud parents of their two adorable children.
After being proposed to, the experienced NBA guard expressed his feelings towards Anderson in a heartfelt and lively message. “Your exceptional conduct will forever hold a special place in my heart,” wrote Rose. “We have built a lasting connection and a beautiful family,” he continued, concluding with gratitude, “Thank you, my queen.”
