LeBron James, of the Lakers, is having some fun poking fun at a draft prediction.
The highest-scoring player in NBA history stood up for his son after ESPN removed Bronny James from its projected 2024 NBA draft. Initially seen as a top-10 pick, the USC freshman is now expected to be drafted in the second round in 2025. LeBron James emphasized that mock drafts aren’t a big deal and urged people to let his son enjoy college basketball without the pressure of expectations. Bronny, who missed the start of his freshman season due to health issues, has seen a decline in his draft prospects despite his solid performance on the court. LeBron, who hopes to play alongside his son in the NBA, isn’t too concerned about the mock drafts and believes hard work is what truly matters, offering words of encouragement to all aspiring athletes striving for greatness.
